Triangle Nursery School has been in existence since 1954, providing education to children between the ages of three and four and a half, within the local community of Clapham, South London. We provide a mixture of part and full time places to meet the needs of 88 pupils.

The Curriculum

The Early years Curriculum is aimed at developing the whole child to their maximum potential. Triangle Nursery School offers a broad and balanced curriculum with a Keyworker system. It is the keyworkers responsibility to monitor that each pupil receives valuable and stimulating experiences in all areas and that individual needs are met.

A copy of the curriculum on offer in the school is available to all parents. Our curriculum is broadly based on the D.f.E.S Foundation Stage of the National Curriculum. We aim to develop the whole child to their maximum potential. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum covering Communication, Language and Literacy, Numeracy, Knowledge and Understanding of the World, Personal, Social and Emotional development, Creative development and Physical development.

Pupils are encouraged to choose for themselves where they want to work and to feel able to take responsibility for and to organize their own learning. The adults play an extremely active role in providing a thought provoking, well planned and exciting environment and in working with the pupils to extend their understanding and ability and to monitor their development to see how best to meet each and every pupil's needs. We have a very strong commitment to offering children access to both outdoors and indoors at all times, and we aim to provide a purposeful, linked, well resourced and supported curriculum in both areas.
